Samll Schools, District & Regional Swimming carnival(s)

Date: Term 1

Our students participate in our local Small Schools swimming carnival and then they have the opportunity to progress to the District and Regional carnivals. The District Swimming carnival is held in Bourke every year. come and support our students in their events.

Samll Schools, District & Regional Cross Counrty carnival(s)

Date: Term 2

Our students participate in our local Small Schools Cross Counrty carnival and then they have the opportunity to progress to the District and Regional carnivals. The District Cross Counrty carnival is held in Bourke every year. come and support our students in their events.

NADICO Week

Date: Week 10, Term 2, July

NAIDOC Week at Enngonia Public School is recognised through a week of culturally responsive activities that celebrate Aboriginal cultures, histories, and languages. These experiences strengthen students’ understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories and cultures and promote respect, reconciliation, and shared pride. NAIDOC Week is a significant highlight of our school calendar and strongly supports and enhances our wider community celebrations.

CWA Public Speaking competition

Date: Term 2

Our Stage 2 and 3 students participate in our 'in-school' public speaking competition and our finalists compete in the annual Bouke CWA Public Speaking competition.

Goodooga Indigenous Games

The Goodooga Indigenous Games is held at Goodooga Central School. It brings together more than 700 students from 37 schools across New South Wales for two days of cultural celebration, sport, and learning.

Now in its 15th year, the Games continue to promote cultural understanding, physical fitness, teamwork, and friendship among students from diverse backgrounds.

Date: Term 3

Our students participate in our local Small Schools Athletics carnival and then they have the opportunity to progress to the District and Regional carnivals. The District Athletics carnival is held in Bourke every year. come and support our students in their events.

Halloween Party

Date: Term 4

Time:2pm

Every Halloween is a spooky day to be at Enngonia Public School. We celebrate the day with learning 'trick-or-treat' activities, a spooky lunch and finish the day with our pool party.

High School Transition

Date: Term 4

Our Year 6 students take part in the Bourke High School transition program. It is an extensive eight-week initiative that begins with seven half-day sessions and concludes with a full-day session in Week 8 of Term 4.
