Our principal and staff

Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.

Welcome from our principal

Enngonia Public School is a small, proud and vibrant school in far western NSW. As Principal, it is a privilege to lead a dedicated team of staff who know every child well and work in close partnership with families and the community. Our school is the heart of the village and a safe, welcoming place where every student is known, valued and cared for.

We cater for students from Preschool to Year 6 and pride ourselves on providing high-quality, explicit teaching in literacy and numeracy, while also offering rich learning experiences across all key learning areas. In our multi-stage classrooms, teachers tailor learning to meet individual needs, ensuring that each student is challenged, supported and able to experience success.

Enngonia Public School has a strong commitment to Aboriginal education and to honouring the cultures, languages and histories of our local community. The majority of our students identify as Aboriginal and we work closely with families, community members and local organisations to embed culture, identity and connection to Country throughout our programs.

Although we are a small and remote school, our students enjoy big opportunities – from cultural programs and creative arts, to sports, excursions, camps and transition programs that support their journey into high school. Our school motto, “Opportunities for All”, underpins everything we do.

I warmly invite you to contact the school, arrange a visit or have a yarn with us about how Enngonia Public School can support your child’s learning, wellbeing and future success.

Israel Rogers, Principal of Enngonia Public School
